Morris Day and the Time in Vegas I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend. The Time is playing at Boulder Station. Can anyone tell me:
1) Do they still put on a good show? 2) Any details about the venue (Railhead)? Thanks

Sorry, I don't know about the venue, but they can put on a show, alright !
I never saw them when they first came out, because I wasn't born until Ice Cream Castle was released, so I really don't have another era to compare them to, but I saw them last summer and I just had an awesome time. I made a very brief summary of the show in my "What ever happened to the Time?" thread, but in my sentimental rampage of emotion I forgot to really elaborate, but... ...the setlists are very satisfying, and keep you moving. Sometimes the songs just flow into the next song without a break, so it kinda keeps you on your feet. The guys are all still charismatic and 'into it'. Even though in today's murky quagmire of a music industry, these guys are wholly overlooked, the attitude and playfulness they exhibit would make you think they were at the top of the charts. And they'll still make you laugh. Go check 'em out.
