MINNEAPOLIS MUSIC MONTH ON "UPPER ROOM WITH JOE KELLEY" RADIO SHOW

Bridgeport, Connecticut (Feb. 26th, 2004) The "Upper Room with Joe Kelley" radio show announces its annual Minneapolis Music Month in March. There will be new daily shows, interviews and performances. The show is broadcast 24/7 on the internet at www.upperroomwithjoekelley.com and live on Mondays 4-8pm (NYC time) on 88.5 WVOF FM in Fairfield, Connecticut on www.wvof.org. The show is co-hosted by Joe Kelley, Gi Dussault and JD "Electric Man" Silva.

Jill Jones and Ian Ginsberg of the Grand Royals, and Shel Riser of Sonny Boy and Mazarati will perform in-studio concerts. New interviews will include Jake Slichter of Semisonic, Greg Boyer of Prince and the NPG, blues singer Renee Austin, Dr. Fink of Prince and the Revolution, TC Ellis- executive director of High School for Recording Arts in St. Paul, Eric Leeds who has toured with many of Prince's bands, Gary Hines of Sounds of Blackness, musician/producer Mark Arneson, music reviewer Jean-Yves Tremblay, hip-hop artist Protegee, funk-blues guitarist Patrick Bell, Derek Kelly- host of WNPNY, and musician and historian Carlton J. Smith.

Prior to his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 15th, the "Upper Room" will focus an entire week on the music of Prince. Expect some added surprises during the month as well.

In addition, the "Upper Room" will be airing archived interviews from Monte Moir, Jellybean Johnson and Tori Ruffin of the Time, John Blackwell, Rhonda Smith and Chance Howard of Prince's current band the NPG, Kat Dyson, Kirk Johnson, 94 East, Timothy Moore of Heart, Mind and Soul, Taja Sevelle, Jacqui Thompson, Michael Bland, Tommy Barbarella and Sonny Thompson of NPG, St. Paul Peterson and Jeannie Peterson, Larry Graham, Brown Mark of Prince and the Revolution, Estaire Godinez, and Sheila E..
