It has been around for years (7 to be exact) and was the reason for Wendy & Lisa starting their own site. I was contacted by thier (then) manager and asked if they could use some of the information from my site and it started a relationship with myself and the ladies. Which I had already established on my own. Living in L.A., I would run into Lisa frequently (starting in 1990) and we would always talk, Wendy is another story and not as friendly....When I was really sick about six years ago, they sent me a care package of autographed photos and t-shirts..'til this day people always stop me on the street when I wear my GirlBros t-shirt )

I don't know what happened to Tornado Lynn...She actually lived with me for about four months early last year. She wanted a new life in California so I decided to help her out (BIG mistake!) ) I think Los Angeles has turned her out. I tried to warn her about the pitfalls of living in this town and everytime she wouldn't listen and get f*cked over exactly like I told her she would. I have lived in this town too long I know how it works, she on the other hand had just moved off the mountain top (literally). So, she moved (I told her it was time for her to go) after I helped her get a great job with benefits (Eye, dental, everything) she got her own apartment and I never heard from her again. I even showed her how to use the transportation around town, riding with her sometimes and helped her getting a bus pass. Talk about being thankful...It kinda pisses off when I think about, but only for a second or two... As, I think back she came out here on false pretenses (she lied to me I later discovered) and she only moved out here to be "close" to Wendy. Her first free day here she went (walked from my apt. and I don't live THAT close) to Wendy & Lisa's house and took pictures of it and their cars...I thought then that was a little "strange" and that I had made a mistake, but she was already here and I wasn't going to throw her out on the street (just yet ) Yeah...that was some weird sh*t and I'll never do that again...

Thanks for the compliments...I reserved myself this year into updating it with some more archival items. But, between my main site The Book of Thoth and the two new sites I am currently working on (My Photography and a Prince site) it may take a few minutes...

When it comes down to it, I appreciate all the Web sites where W&L get their due, including Lynn's and Prince.org, and Frankie's and the mothership and everywhere else. Diversity rocks. W&L rock. It's a good thing.
