I got a hold of a rare video clip of a Mazerati club performance with guest Sheila E. It's a really bad quality clip (meaning the quality of the video), very rough... they are jamming on mostly America with a tiny bit of Holly Rock, Love Bizarre, and Head.

Anyway, around the time Sheila takes over the drum kit, someone comes on stage who looks etiher like a Prince wanna be, El DeBarge or someone... he's wearing dark sunglasses, a brown and black coat, and looks very Prince/Cat-ish circa circa Lovesexy.

Anyone know who it is/ He's playing tambourine up in there.

Also, is that Brownmark playing bass?

Be aware though this is like really grainy, blurry, and almost impossible to hear clearly. It was just cool to see a document of a club date.

Oh yeah, it's also an AVI which wouldn't play at all until someone told me about this cool program VLP or something which plays everything.

Georgio played with Mazarati? I thought he was just a wannabe Prince imitator with no affiliation.

Although, I did kind of like "Tina Cherry" at the time!!

On that video clip, it's 1985, that's Romance 1600 era Sheila. Georgio used to kick it with the MPLS. crew back in the day whenever they came to town. He's from S.F. and Bay Area people stick together ) meaning, Sheila.

I remember when the Sheila E/The Family/Mazerati tour was announced back in '85 or '86... was so pissed when it never happened!

But I can't complain cuz I was at the Family Jamm! Yay! (Thank you Sheila!!!)

About this video clip...I wouldn't say Giorgio (if that's even him)... "plays with Sheila".

Sheila is guesting on Mazerati's set (well actually she steals the show IMO and is the natural leader onstage... but I digress). Way into this long version of America, she takes over the drum kit from their normal drummer and they do a bit of Love Bizarre (really just Eddie M playing some lines)...

Anyway of all of a sudden this guy just kinda wanders onstage...He has longish hair (like prince in Lovesexy), sunglasses on too. He just kind of wanders around onstage and maybe shakes a tambourine. PhilG said thsi was Giorgio... I was curious cuz he looks like Prince or a Prince wannabe.

The guy who made the Mazarati DVD for me said it was him & I vaguely remember how he looked back in the day so I guess it could be anybody's guess.He did come unto the scene around that time so who knows?

Mazarati dvd? u got go to the hub 4 that also?
