most influential band,protgees, girlfriends,etc Seems Prince's work is often debated on which was greater than the other. However I have personally noticed that a lot of his most productive work 81-87 he was surrounded by some very talented folks that may have influenced his work. with the pre-revolution,the time,vanity around he was churning out so great work.
post revolution,after show gigs,3 o'clock,good ?,mavis, hanging with miles. produced "sign", "batman", etc. npg-no time,no revolution, male dancers,more suprise gigs, bootlegs, carmen,name change,gold nigga, exodus, etc. what y'all think? | |

seems his strongest work was created when he may have been surrounded by his most creative group of musicians. Being it has been reported that often times ideas were borrowed. When those musicians left to move on the creative output for spin offs was never the same. Which may have been a result of lack of inspiration from those around him. | |
