Sheila E's sassy lyrics If you listen to Sheila E's four pop albums ('The Glamorous Life','Romance 1600','Sheila E' and 'Sex Cymbal'),you will notice that the lyrics are often sexy,sassy and sometimes downright humorous.I don't know how much input she had in writing these songs,but the lyrics are really impressive.Rememeber these memorable lines?...

Back in '87 I was kinda shocked when I heard this. SHeila always seemed too classy to go around spouting "nigga" so easily... granted this was way before every other hip hop artist and white boys were going around using this word so fliply. Figured it was something Prince threw in. She did have great lyrics though. Not to mention her funk!  |
