Wendy & Lisa's touch on Doyle Bramhall's albums is absolutely wonderful. I finally got my hands on DBII's album "II" and have been reeling at the songwriting and musicianship. I go through this every year with them, it seems. Last year, I discovered their wonderful work on Neil Finn's "One All/One Nil" albums.
And, their work on DBII's stuff is subtle, solid songwriting and playing. "Song from the Grave" from "II" is just beautiful. And, the brother plays and sings really well, too.

My favorites are He Stole Our Love Away and Stay A While. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

I actually like Doyle's "Jellycream" better. It has more of a "Blues" feel to it and Wendy and Lisa are all over it. Other newer albums to check out for artistic talent lending are:
1. Neil Finn - One Nil (or One All) 2. Lisa Germano - Lullaby for a Liquid Pig 3. Ok Go - Ok Go 4. Seal - Seal (yes this is his new release, it's going to confuse alot of people who have his 1st album) 5. Liz Phair - Another one who likes to have a self title album out after she has already released others. Due out in June but you can (if you are lucky) get an advanced copy the 15th of May. 6. Lisa Marie Presley - Only the single "Lights Out" -Wendy Other oldies but goodies that I am rediscovering/enjoying 1. k.d.lang "Invincible Summer" - Wendy plays on every song but 2 2. Miles Ciletti - "Dark Nights" - Lisa plays on 3 songs and "In a Definite Sense" is Lisa spoken word! Really awesome! ____________________
