I went to the John Blackwell drum clinic here in San Antonio last night.

I'm telling you this man is awesome. He did a drum impromtu for 20 minutes non stop. This man has played fro Cameo and Patti La Belle. Was anybody else there last night. Oh yea I got his audograph and his picture.
Great guy he is.

I'll be seeing him Tuesday evening in Palatine, IL which is right outside Chicago! Looking forward to it!

I was there...but I broke camp at the end when the raffle thingy started. Blackwell is just too cool. Dude is a beautiful mix of honesty, strength, humblenss and humor. He's a pretty good impressionist too. LOL! I got there super early. After walking in, as I got closer to where his setup was I could hear music from the Rainbow Children playing...that felt so incredibly good...had me recalling my feelings of walking into Paisley Park each day/night of last years' Celebration. Man o' man, the feelings. Yepper, it was nice being in the NPG presence again.
