Listening to The Black Album and Lovesexy, and both album era tunes, it amazes me how good a rapper CAT was. (And a very good singer too; live performances). Her rap on Cindy C is so good, so spot on, with so much 'rap-classe' (if this word can be used). She sounds so much fun, tongue in cheek-ish even. Same in Alphabet St., and in This Is Not Music, This Is A Trip (pt II) Prince should've let Cat do a Rap album instead of all the others that came in a bit later, imho of course. May her beautiful soul shine with the stars.
