First Avenue Aug 1983 — Revolution Interviews?? Just rewatched parts of this totally legendary performance. Tears in my eyes from all the greatness. Can anyone point me toward any interviews with anyone from the Revolution about this performance? I’m dying to learn more about playing Purple Rain live for the first time…and having it wind up on the album! Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Thanks so much for that link. I've bookmarked it and will comb thru.
Specifically I was trying to see if Wendy, Lisa, Bobby Z, Matt or Brown Mark had any recollections of that night. I figured there might be a video -- maybe from the last 5 years -- out there that someone had come across with just such information, which is why I was asking for leads. Obviously Google is great for text and even general video searches |

but it's a lot harder to watch hours and hours of videos searching for a few lines, and I just figured someone might remember where this might be in one of em.
