NPG also wrote and recorded a new album but nothing came of it either. Maybe there wasn't the response from record labels that they were expecting? Just speculation.

It'll be self released or on a small label. Just like the FDeluxe albums, just like the Original 7Ven album, just like the last Wendy & Lisa album, and just like Prince at the end.

And I am cool with that!

My guess is the covid shit that caused the delays...

I hope they really do it!

I hope the message somehow will get to them.

And I hope they will soon tour again.

The NPG just starting releasing new dates for shows in 2021, so I have a feeling as long as COVID doesnt shut the states down again, overseas is another story, that artists that recorded albums or had material will think about putting it out now. The NPG probably figured it would be best if they could play some new stuff at shows and do it that way, maybe even sell it at gigs. I mean its Not Like any of the other NPG albums, the public was busting down the doors for and those had Prince.
