You have been posting for days, so must be very important to you. Once again, there are no articles on Prince giving anyone herpes of any kind.

I'm trying to keep the facts straight. Like I said, herpes was the least of his worries. I won't upset you with the realities of Prince's 'situation.' Newsflash! Most of the world is 'in the know' no matter how furiously you peddle in place. I guess Chaka and Neal didn't get your memo.

I’m not angry. I just have a low tolerance for stupidity. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Translation: I can’t admit I’m wrong, so I’ll call you angry and try to change the subject. Prince has no worries, at all, anymore. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The facts are straight -- no articles on Prince giving anyone herpes, and he doesn't have any problems. As for Chaka, it is entirely low rent and unethical to be speculating on a gossip program about a friend's medical issues -- odd that a 'nurse' wouldn't have any sense of this. And here is Chaka dishing on Wendy Williams about Lindsay Lohan's rehab progress -- https://www.youtube.com/w...g&t=4s . Enjoy!

In the interview she doesn't seem high to me. Just someone who's brain is erratic and dissocciated from years of drug abuse.

I used to love it when PeteS would take you on, gene. Great entertainment back in the day. Hope you are getting paid well.

Wrong again...PeggyO, Peggyon. I don't write as well as Pete. I leave periodically when the BS gets to me. I can usually last 3-4 months. IMO, Some Prince fans (the loud, 'evangelicals') have little capacity for critical thinking.

Yeah,I'm kinda disappointed in her.She really should not have "went there"

According to the 'nurse', you'd be a loud evangelical incapable of critical thinking. The loons are flying high today...

Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, Phyllis Hyman, Whitney Houston... they all talked their shit, and dished dirt, and had their drama, and stirred the tea... thats part of their charm and diva sex appeal...women of that beauty and stature are normally fearless with their mouths (to a fault)... and most of those women come from ghetto ("ratchet") backgrounds (Chicago, Detroit, North Philly), and theyve always carried that edge and persona beneath the fabulousness...let Ckaka talk her shit...she does appear to be slightly buzzed...nothin heavy..maybe some wine or reefer

Chaka is my musical mother. I have seen Chaka high more times than I can count over the years. She is not high in this interview. Chaka can say anything she pleases. She has been in this business for almost 50 years! She has outlived so many who came after her, people who bowed at her thrown, people who were put above her. I dont think she was direspectful to anyone in this interview (well, except maybe Rick James ). "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I totally hate to admit having read that but I did, and yes...they did. I dismissed at as trash upon reading it so it actually happening a week later left me with an uneasy feeling that I probably still haven't totally shaken.

Although hood adjacent like most neighborhoods in large cities, Chaka actually grew up in a pretty affluent area of Chitown

Wow...I so agree. Been saying that for years on this site. Is this really who Prince fans (of all people) grew up to be?
If you really want to see them come at you in droves for the kill try starting a conversation that entertains any other possibility than steadfast heterosexuality where P is concerned or matters of race [Edited 11/25/20 14:54pm]

Funny how we all loved her and appreciated her candor when she appeared on Larry King Live after Whitney's death and said what she felt about Clive Davis

I know, I know, 'that' which may not be mentioned; careful, you'll wake up the easily-offended 'gate-keepers' of the "Disney' Prince. The Org has gotten pretty conservative. Sometimes I hit the archives for some real fun and deeper conversation.

There is likely some P. Estate 'influence' as to what is allowed to be talked about now. [Edited 11/26/20 22:18pm] [Edited 11/26/20 22:18pm]
