???
What's it mean by Prince is co-narrator? He actually wrote, or dictated, his POV or Morris, and his co-writer, are imagining what his view would be? If it's the latter, my interest in this book has plummeted.

You may not like it, but I do! I like the thought of what he thinks Prince's perspective would be, looking over his shoulder commenting. I like the preview and plan on getting it at the same time as I get Prince's book on Kindle!
There's a preview of Morris' book on Amazon.

There's a good preview of the book on Amazon. You should check it out. Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end

Looking forward to this! I notice there's an audio book as well, it would be so good if Morris does the narration himself. Fingers crossed.

Read it and really dislike the concept. It's disrespectful to Prince and Prince's religious beliefs.
And somebody should have tipped Morris off that Prince used all caps in his later life.

I think Morris knew that Prince (like most AARP-aged people), seemed to have the caps lock on at all time without noticing.

Yep. Prince was many things to many people.

I bet this book would not be released if Prince was still alive, he would not be a co-narrator.... who really knows what Prince would have though at the time, unless he was recorded speaking about it, how can it ever be relied upon? seems a silly claim to me to try and sell it to the Prince fans, many of which would have bought it anyways without Prince 'Narration'

There's a preview of Morris' book on Amazon. I’m on board as well. Might be kind of entertaining — and it’s cool to have insight into Morris’ perceptions of Prince’s personality. I mean, hey, he actually worked with the guy for years, so that’s gotta count for something!

Read the (longer than I thought it would be) preview. I was a lot more entertained by the writing than I thought I would be. The "conversation" works well and it's close the voice I think Prince would have.
Can't wait to read the full thing! Paisley Park is in your heart - Love Is Here!

The fact that David Ritz is attached to this is very interesting to say the least. I'll be interested in hearing more about this when it's released- may have to check it out.

- Should be very funny to hear Morris foolin' like they both used to do together. Morris IS funny. But I think what he wants us to know is how good he knew Prince, personally. They kind of grew musically together, a shaped base for both. Meaning that he can translate and recap how Prince would've said it. - Looking forward to it. - "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. And wiser people so full of doubts" (Bertrand Russell 1872-1972)

I think Prince's use of caps was purposeful, and not because he didn't notice.
