Sheila said she doesn't remember some of these things, I feel like what she is saying is contradicting what is on princevault.com as far as days. She said in the interview that Glamourous Life was the last song recorded for the album & princevault.com suggest it was one of the first 2 songs. She also said she was working on the melody. I know I heard a version with just Prince & Jill. Was this an Apollonia 6 song like some of the others or just about her?

I know I heard a version with just Prince & Jill. Was this an Apollonia 6 song like some of the others or just about her? Jill Jones said the song was originally for her. She had no idea that Prince was sneaking Sheila in the studio. She just thought Sheila was there to play basketball. She also said Sheila looked NOTHING like she ended up looking. She originally looked more like Larry Graham. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

I thought the Glamorous Life was originally for Vanity 6
It's possible that as far as Sheila E is concerned it was one of the last and Prince Vault can still be right as far as being one of the first for the V6/A6 album

Did she really say Sheila E looked like Larry Graham? I thought she said she looked like a jock or something. Sheila was always into sports

Not an engagement ring, this photo was from 1986 apart of a promotional photoshoot for her 3rd album

Is that an assumption? I can't read the script. Did she speak about the ring at all?

Sheila posted the following regarding Angela Davis, former member of the Black Panther Party: "Happy birthday my friend. We are grateful for who you are and what you’ve done. Love u 💋💜🙏🏽"

No not an assumption, based on timeline facts. Was there someone else she talked about being engaged to in 1986.
When Prince asked her to marry her, it was during a performance of the Cross on the SOTT tour mid 1987

Was the photo flipped? Wrong hand. Was she pulling a Andy? Like with the whole wedding dress looking shot. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
This moment is all there is...

EROTIC CITY
A sexy song on the B side of Prince’s No. 1 single “Let’s Go Crazy” introduced a new flame, percussionist Sheila E.
DAVID Z: We were editing “Erotic City” at his purple house [in Chanhassen]. It was a hot summer day, and I wore this loud Hawaiian shirt. I said, “I can’t hear the bass drum too well.” He said, “That’s ‘cause your shirt’s too loud.”

Sheila has posted the following clip regarding Black History Month: "Throughout #blackhistorymonth I’ll be sharing the stories of the many people throughout our history that fought and stood for justice, equality and the integral right to human dignity and freedom. We are here today because of those who spoke up, stood up and laid the groundwork for all future generations of people." Check it out: https://www.instagram.com...Y1T6InLNa/

Sheila E is so well spoken & has a beautiful speaking voice. She would be an EXCELLENT talk show host. Too bad she wasn't picked on her audition for "The Talk" to replace Julie Chan.
