Erm...Similar line of thought...His faith keeping him from ACTING in some way upon his desire, but that he wasn't denying experiencing the desire itself nor being capable of carrying through under the right circumstances...

That was one of the covers they did on Oui Can Luv as well.I loved his rendition of it during the Piano & Mic shows and how he combined it with If I Was Your Girlfriend.I think it was beautiful but melancholic. | |

There was some P&M show footage up on YouTube where he performed The Breakdown. Before going into it, he said something like “We all have that one. We know her.” I think it was at one of the shows in Sydney. | |

Interesting.He kept referring to the movie The Way We Were and Barbara Streisand breaking up with Robert Redford during performances of Waiting In Vain too.I wonder what that was about as well.I saw that he had the dvd in his collection and it was one of the movies on the Amazon receipt from May 31st 2011.

Honestly,I think he was studying all of these subjects for a reason and if you look up the definitions they correlate. I don't think he was necessarily studying the topic of marriage either.All of what he wrote down seems to be connected.I said that Judith was quoted as saying that you could say that Andy was his last girlfriend "before her" and Bria was before her and everyone else, she only knew from what she had read on the internet and heard from other people and that Prince never talked to her about any of the people. I was referring to the lyrics of June when I said that he seemed to be writing about considering marriage with "someone" 'how can you be everybody's dream and still be somebody's wife?"

He was being who he always was, and trying to grow in understanding for whatever his purposes were. For all we know it couldve been to further encourage the women who he had friendships, mentorships and business associations with. Or simply because he was so darned interested in women. And that is not what you stated Judith said. You said Judith said that she (Judith) was not Prince’s girlfriend, and that Andy Allo was the last girlfriend. If you look back a few posts,you'll see that I replied to L Brent's comment about Judith not saying that she was Prince's girlfriend.I said that the police asked her who his other girlfriends were and if she would be comfortable telling them.She said "I guess you could say that Andy Allo was before me,Bria Valente."She then went on to say that the others she had read about online and heard about from other people. As far as the correlation of the words that he wrote down,I think he was possibly studying about the Nagas but he may have been thinking of marrying AA for all I know though probably not so early in the relationship. | |

And more importantly, you didn’t address these thoughts of mine from above: Prince had always been a “hopeless romantic”, as Mayte told us. He always saw women as very powerful. The womb...all of it. He loved brilliant women but also always kept some other ones around him too, lol...Prince had also studied religion, philosophy and other interesting subjects for years. He also always loved movies. So how does what he was reading or watching at the time, which was an expression of what he had always read and watched, equate to him planning on marrying Andy Allo? The man was always into these types of things. I was half asleep when I typed the earlier reply and I forgot to add "before her" to my statement.Enough articles have been written referring to Judith as his last girlfriend and after her police interview was released to the public,I made the assumption that those reading my post knew that Judith had referred to herself as his then current girlfriend.I believe from the way that he talked about Andy in interviews as well as what others have said, that he was very impressed by her intellect.He did write in 2Y2D that she had a "kick drum brain full of technology." I never said that what he was studying related to marrying Andy though he may have been considering it.He appeared to be studying the Nagas and everything he wrote down seemed to correlate with that.He was making it a point to mention The Way We Were during performances of Waiting In Vain at the Piano Mic shows and I said I wondered why that was not that it was necessarily associated with Andy, though it may have been since he purchased it while they were dating.She never mentioned the movie tbut she did say that they frequently watched Barbarella and said she loved Pillow Talk,another movie that was in his collection.
