So we're supposed to take someone seriously who came into the public eye in a negligee and police hat? Or left her panties in front of the Glam Slam?? This post of her's could only be better if G Spot was playing in the background while her bitter ass read this out loud.

And I guess you just proved her point, no one will take you seriously if you dress A certain way. No matter how much you have the right to do so. Jill exercised her rights early on in her career now she is exercising another right. She is entitled to those freedoms as we all are. I don’t agree with singling out Anyone to make the point however.

Yeah singling Cabello was wrong as simple as that, In my responses to Jill on FB she responded once but it was in a weaving way where all i can think is, OK valid point but why post this girls picture/album cover and then compare her to random girls on instagram that stick their asses out all over and call it modeling, I think it was flat out a rude comparison, lost tons of respect I sort of had for Jill.

Agreed. Whilst the album cover isn't a "pussy shot" per se - it's a classic advertising technique to divert the eye - you're meant to look at her crotch from how the picture is composed, this was done on purpose. I'm not saying it's good, or bad - it's certainly not a new or revolutionary technique, far from it - but that's what it is in that sense, a pussy shot.

.

I mean, well done - we're talking about it. I've never heard her music, have no interest in hearing it - but I've discussed the cover, so I've not spent money on it, but I've contributed to promoting it. Purpose achieved.

.

We all know Jill's career with Prince, so she's done/sang worse - so maybe she's speaking from experience rather than just taking a shot?

You actually said that I have No clue about feminism. That's What I said, and my comment was an answer to your whole Post in wich you claimed that women Like Camila are turning feminism backwards. I didn't even claim shit about what you said.
[Edited 1/19/18 8:06am]

Oh and since you cut it Out: Here's my comment, now someone tell me where I wrote something about Babynoz.

Okay, I read this post several times now and I just can't resist to givin' my 2 cents. What I tried to explain in my last posts was this: I don't get what's so bad about women posing like this? You know why I ask this question? No one would call a man a slut for doing exactly the same, I mean, let's take Usher for an example, if he'd pose without a shirt, just showing off his abs, people would say: "Well, he's sure of himself." Another double standard, if a man poses almost naked for a magazine or is naked in a movie won't be viewed as a slut or an object, this guy would still have chances to be casted as James Bond or every other role his heart desires. Because he's a man, and most of the time, men can do whatever they want to, without facing consequences for their career.

THAT's why I say, a cover like Camila's can empower young women to do whatever they want to and fighting for it! Prostesting like this and making a point, and tell the society that, even if a woman displays her body like that, she's still not just an object. She's just sure of herself.

AGAIN: The society creates these standards, and the problems that come with it. But I say, women shouldn't back down just because society wants them to act a certain way. The society shouldn't be allowed to judge a woman, as long as she's not killing someone, you don't need to care what she does. Yesterday I read somewhere that a boy in school grope a girl under her skirt, the school reacted in the wrongest of ways, they changed the girl's clothes were changed to pants.

You wanna know what you teach not only girls, but boys too? You teach the girls: "If you dress a certain way, you get touched without your permission." And you teach the boys: "If a girl dresses a certain way it's her own fault."

And THAT's anti feminism, teaching women to behave a certain way, or else they are not allowed to complain about being called a slut. If you wanna go that road, good luck. Because it's a fucked up road.

Now y'all can go on and call me names, and tell me again that I don't get it, because I am a man, but I go by: "Everybody is free to do whatever they want as long as they don't seriously harm anyone." I think our society should learn that 2.

I'm not saying that women don't use this tool to sell their music, but men do the same and no one shits on them for that. So stop shitting on women.

Okay Purplefam you kinda got a point. But the thing is, society probably won't change if women back down and just do what people expect them to do.

Instead of using a general statement to try and twist my words to your agenda, go back and read reply #9 liar! I Clearly said that I did NOT see Camila as part of that trend.

"I agree that Jill singling this lady out isn't a good example of the point she is trying to make, but her point is still valid.

I don't have a problem with the album cover but the music sucks."

I SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT JILL USED THE WRONG EXAMPLE TO MAKE HER POINT AND THAT I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE ALBUM COVER, LIAR. YOU ARE NOT SLICK.

Then I got things wrong and I apologize for that, but this is no reason to attack me like you and poppys are doing it right now. Oh and while we're on the subject, I got things wrong with your comments towards Camila, but it was YOU who just cut out my comment so that no one could what you've been talking about.

You should have quit when Genesia handed you your ass. But attention trolls have no boundaries or shame I guess. disbelief

Then I got things wrong and I apologize for that, but this is no reason to attack me like you and poppys are doing it right now.

I have not said anything that is against the site rules. It is not an attack when both Genesia and myself had to defend ourselves against YOUR attack with YOUR unfair and untruthful characterization of our words. rolleyes

It wasn't an attack, I stated my opinion on your comments and I simply got your comments wrong, it wouldn't have been an attack if I got your comments right, because it was just my opinion. I didn't insult anyone here, and I didn't say anything that is against the rules either.

I was not attacking Penny.

But you've been attacking Prince because you assumed Penny called Jill a slut

Here is the first post you jumped on me in this thread, #51. I still can't figure out how you got that from the discussion.

Sheesh, can we not ever have a conversation, without people calling names and changing other peoples quotes?

When I read that exchange I did not at all get that Poppy’s was calling any one a slut. I got only that the call was to fairness and that they were both acting slutty.
I don’t get why the next comment wasn’t “ oh yes of course Prince is the other half in this slutty experience”.

I didn't say that poppys called anyone a slut??

Okay, can I just clarify that: "I did a mistake by getting some comments wrong! And that's not okay I get it! But you know what poppys, if you read this, I'd love to show you what you did when you claimed I've been nasty, when I wasn't!!!

Now you using this against me? I apologized for that and it was okay for you!

Saying you are sorry in an org note is not the same as apologizing on the thread. And you continue to be agressive. Calm down and discuss the topic or not.

It was okay for you and now you're acting like that? You tell me to calm down? Do you have any idea what your comment did? I was calm unitl you said I've coming off as nasty, when I haven't been nasty.
