I'm I the only one think there is some Prince vocal in the mix?

It was much better than I expected. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Was hoping for something from the vault but, this was still cool. It's her brother and she can celebrate him however she wants!

I have to agree. This video came across, imo, more focused on herself rather than on Prince, despite the song ostensibly being FOR her brother on his birthday. I'm not even going to get into the teasing and limp 'hype' for it she created which I think was unnecessary and a poor idea. I just think that if she'd made a video made up of photos of Prince, pics of her and the family with Prince, etc and then maybe a few seconds of herself at the end saying she loved and missed him or soemthing like that, this video would feel to me more truly about him and not so much 'LOOK AT ME, TYKA, SINGING A SONG ABOUT MY FAMOUS BROTHER! IT'S ME, TYKA, SINGING THIS!!' People around here get enraged about all the opportunists using Prince's passing and their associations with him to make a buck or restart/rejuvinate their careers...well, I'm sorry but this video and the circumstances surrounding it (meaning, the hinting and teasing and such) seems like a vehicle for Tyka to stand in the spotlight vs a song intended to direct focus onto the memory of Prince and celebrate him on the day of his birth. Just my thoughts.

exactly. i totally get that she, as an artist in her own right, wanted to put her feelings into a song,
dedicated to her brother. that's a lovely sentiment and there's nothing wrong with that so i don't
get why people are bashing the song or tyka as a person based on the song itself.

but some of the other choices around this little project are just, well... choices.
