May not be the reason it was released but the drawing is awful.

It means it's relative to the viewer, isn't it? It's a piece of history, whether folks dig it or not, which - for me - is what's important here. I'm sure folks thought Prince and his thigh-burns on Dirty Mind wasn't the most attractive thing in a year's time either. (It sorta reminds me of a Thin Lizzy or Ted Nugent album cover from the 70s, but I can't think of the right one.) It was a rough sketch, so I'd have been interested to see how it was finessed into a final cover. It'd almost have the same folklore as the ATWIAD covers, and how he ditched one painting for another, but with all the same elements.

S has had more than her troubles in recent years and everything helps. Doesnt take away from it that it's not better than the work of a 5-year old, but hey... she has other talents we dont have!
