If she just posted some pictures, I'd personally give her the side-eye. Why isn't she being forthcoming herself and just say what she means? Cat and Jill at least use words to express themselves fully if they don't agree with something. A bunch of overly cryptic mess seems attention seeking.

I agree and yes,I have noticed that she is acting like she is Prince's widow.At a time like this,these women should all be supporting and uplifting each other! The drama needs to stop NOW.

Appollonia was in a movie with him 30 years ago and besides that, the only real interaction they seemed to have had was when she was invited to Paisley Park a few years ago. ? Surely they both had a fondness for one another and even love for one another but- did they go bowling? did they talk for hours on the phone? (like he did with Tamron Hall) - did they vacation together? I think the answer is no or she would be talking about it and posting pictures. She did a movie with him 30 years ago and that is basically it. Who is she to say anything about his former WIFE?

Why does everyone need to support Mayte if they don't agree with her releasing this book? I agree don't be cryptic about it, tell us how you really feel.

I don't think people have to agree with Mayte's decision to write to book,but under the circumstances,it just seems that these people should call a truce and not be so combative/angry with others one of Prince's messages/themes was "love 4 one another" if you'll recall.I think he would be horrified if he knew about all the drama that was happening now that's he gone

I can understand the mutual respect they have/had for one another, him for her role in making that movie a success that it was, her for him giving her the opportunity to experience the life that she has, but I've never gotten the impression they were close friends in recent years.

BUT I don't have a problem with her voicing an opinion, but it would be nice if she'd actually VOICED an opinion, I stop doing picture stories back in preschool. Unless she stands to lose or gain something by not doing so.

I agree. she should just go ahead and voice it then. but she keeps throwing all this shade likes she's some important part in his life- when she was an important part in his MOVIE but as for anything else, ? what? she went to PP a few years ago? So what? Why does she think she can say anything to someone who was married to him and spent days and years by his side?

Apples is the kind of person that when she loves someone she loves hard. If a friend is sick or something she's that friend who will go to CVS and pick up the prescription. So, I think deep down she has some repressed anger at not being able to get to Prince last April. At the same time I think she's still trying to figure out how to honor him in a way that is respectful.

Maybe she should stay off social media and take care of her own business then. She wasn't able to get to Prince, because Prince wouldn't take her phone calls, which means he didn't want to talk to her.

If you love Prince you are not going to support anyone trying to tarnish his legacy. Mayte can tell her story but when a story is told and the other party cannot confirm or deny and when it is someone like Prince she has to be able to take the defense of him and people countering what she is saying.

It is in poor taste much of what is being insinuated about him. He is now being called so many things that he was not.

Prince left this world a man of 57 years old and he was not a pedophile. I do not want people throwing me under the bus for what I did 20 years ago. I have matured and changed.
