I got my copy early today from Amazon, and i finished the book today.I will not spoil it from everybody but i have mixed feelings, more negative than positive.

If you go to the book page and click "Listen" you can hear a bit of Mayte reading a sample... I just did...sounds interesting.... I think she imply's that Appollonia is a name picked by Prince- (I always thought Appollonia was her given name) anyway... sounds good....

I believe it's clear that this thread will only convey positive thoughts, opinions, discussion about the book. Probably best you scoot along....

once I checked the post says we can discuss ANYTHING, EVERYTHING about the book. whats the point of having a book club if a person can't discuss their personal feelings towards a book. I'm not a mayte hater at all but this book...

We can discuss it, but we are going to be civil about it, and not like the other thread. We are going to go chapter by chapter. We are not going to call each other names, we are not going to degrade each other. This is about the book.

Me too. I want to really discuss this one. We all can read the same thing but we all have different takes on it. We are gonna pick the book apart. Sentence by sentence.

I’m embarrassed to say , not only did I buy the book, but downloaded the audible this morning.

If anybody has the chance, listen to the book being read by Mayte herself.

All I'm gonna say is she's TALENTED and I cried a little so far.

I just did the "look inside" feature since my book isn't here yet and (no spoilers) couldn't believe what he'd done to his house (won't elaborate) until we start discussing. ---- Wish my book would hurry up!
