I don't know him, but I've never had a racist experience with him.

Trust me, if that situation ever occurs between us, I'll have zero effs to give about confronting him...But as of now I don't have that experience with him.

First, I don't know the guy you're talking about. If he's been an asshat to folks, I'm sure they've handled it and will continue to do so. I'm neither the Internet police nor an Internet thug so as long as he doesn't step to me or mine I'm good.

The Universe has a way of dealing with folks who transgress so I'm confident that the Universe will do that with all of us, including this guy.

Second, I don't know Mayte. I like her, but I wouldn't categorize myself as a "fan" of hers. I'm simply choosing to read a book she wrote because it is about P.

Third, I don't know P, but I am a longtime fan and that's pretty much it.

You read The Most Beautiful by Mayte Garcia in its entirety and you didn't see anywhere in the book where she strongly insinuates all of the things endiadj lists? They make rose-colored reading glasses now?

Nope.

She never even implied he could be a pedophile.

She mentions some episodes where he told her he wasn't feeling well and had a migraine.

She insisted on never seeing him take drugs, but she does say there were about a dozen incidents over the 11 years she knew him where she looks back now and wonders if she was being blind or stupid and might've missed something.

She mentions times when he seemed "loopy" but she attributed that to him being tired or sick or having a migraine.

As a nurse, I think P was having seizures throughout his life, but hiding them from folks. I think he'd rather folks think he was drunk/using a drug than to admit to seizures cuz one was his choice and the other was outside his control and it embarrassed him to be seen as an invalid or weak.

I'm not sure what "horrible things" are, but he did do some effed up stuff during their time together. It's not exactly a secret.

All in all, I think she was pretty fair and gentle with what she shared.
