Yuuuup she didn't mince words in this interview especially about the Presley estate (calling Graceland a dead museum etc) very deep indeed. It looks to me that some people are hungry right now for Prince's spotlight, while others are being pushed aside and ignored. And the fans deserve the complete picture.....not just fragments. A festival concept does sounds like a great idea.

well done soulbrother it was nice of her to mention the younger bands he worked with. her specific reference to ingrid was a bit odd but i get that she wants more community less bickering and cliquing up weirdness.

jill's comments about the revolution remind me of a passing comment andre made during his interview about it being a little weird that he had helped audition bobby,matt and lisa but they were the ones who asked him to guest with them. he said he didn't know mark or wendy. he also said that dez thought the same thing(that there was a prince band before the revolution, a history they(the rev)were buidling on).

Interesting. I'm surprised they didn't do their own thing. I loved his early band including Dr fink. They should do their own tribute.

I thought this was great. Thank you! So many people have commented since April that Prince surrounded himself with yesmen and yeswomen - I am glad, at one point in his life, that Jill stood up to him and told him the truth.

Yep. And those who have similar feelings of course are going to agree and be cheering her on. Before they saw each other this year in Oakland when was the last time Jill saw or spoke to Prince? Two people involved in PP museum were Kirk Johnson (probably closer to Prince than anyone) and Trevor Guy, who ran NPG Records since 2013 and was involved in public relations, merchandising and tour and even production for Prince and NPG/3rdEye Girl. I have no doubt that PP will change and evolve over time. It bothers me when people compare it to Graceland; the guy running PP now is a huge Prince fan and has been very clear that the goal is NOT to turn PP into Graceland. The whole demeanor of the guy managing the PP museum gave me some comfort when he spoke.

When it comes to the general plans for PP or Graceland's approach, I don't think Jill has any more info than what any of us have (which is, only what's been made public). She's certainly free to express her opionon, but I don't think she has any particularly unique insight on this topic.
