Usually when someone claims something they should back it up. What proof is there if one does not back up their claim as fact??

Not all claims on this org have been backed up by proof and discussion have been generated regardless.

Maybe questioning an orger's credibility out in the open is not the best approach either and sending an orgnote would have been more respectful to NinaB to request evidence in her claim.

she sang on every protege and some Prince songs into 1990

There you have your thread! Although your request for it was valid, it was difficult to witness a certain suspicion which could have been done in a more private or diplomatic manner.

I'd guess she didn't like the comment, working from memory here as always so, iirc.. about 'some of these ladies may think they are singing on songs they actually are not. Even Prince didn't always know, etc..' Truth hurts, I guess, even though her name wasn't said directly.

I don't see why they are lashing out at the OP/shooting the messenger anyway. Jill stated very clearly that they should contact her directly to hash it out. If they want to step to somebody it should be Jill herself.

And I never have issues with Jill overall and I don't even know her very well. I respected her singing talent and most of the asociates I talk about the most are my favorite ones like Wendy and Lisa and plus Sheila E. And plus unlike her, I am a private figure. I refuse to reveal myself just because she had some unresolved issues from the '80s. Prince was the captain and he was the one who credit people but she have misdirect anger toward the Revolution and some fans. Also, I don't trust her to keep things private. I wouldn't even give my address if she was the only person available to watch my house. I hope other orgers wouldn't give their personal details for the sake of 'trying to settle things with her.'

She is three weeks late and majority of the people on here since moved on with that post she made and are too busy doing anywhere from focusing on upcoming tribute concert to discuss about what actual happen on April 21st.

And if she wanted her story to be heard just write a book like the hairdresser and Mayte are doing. I will buy her book otherwise I just don't get her at times with her cyptic anger but Prince from what I am seeing is the root of it.
