#coatofpinkcashmere Today is the day that the song was released 23 years ago now...
The song was written years before but wasn't released until after we separated, I didnt think
It would ever be released and was surprised to hear it 🎼 as I was out there on the other side of the world living my life ...
The day I first heard it was my 18th birthday.
I walked into the house from a long trip visiting my family in the uk to spend my 18th bday with Prince, there was a beautiful song playing I didn't realize what it was about until moments later when he brought out the coat as my 18th bday gift 🎂💕💗💖 It was the most romantic thing I've ever experienced till this day and my best bday ever! I will never forget that day or any of the time spent with him...
Missing him dearly and trying not to be selfish I figured today would be the day to share a little snippet of my wonderful gift that goes with a beautiful song!
This is my story and it hurts to feel that some people try to take that from me ...

It seems like every other day one of the women says something publicly that is a thinly-veiled dig at someone else...I assume one of the other women, but that's a guess.

We could do without it...although I guess that I could just stop paying attention to these people, which is probably what I'm going to do (because before P died, I really only paid attention to him anyway..)

I'll admit that Pink Cashmere is more obviously about her so I see your point. However, I think P told several women that songs were written about them (or at least insinuated as much).

I have several male artists, musicians, and poets as friends. The best of them know how to woo a woman by making her feel that it's all about her. You kinda have to take some of these things with a grain of salt. Who knows what's actually true...Well, I take that back. In most cases, artists are weaving several life experiences into a work of art (or lyric or poem) while adding a bit of imagination. So, it's all kinda true anyway...if you know what I mean.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Best not to go there or pay attention when others do.

Every woman should've had the experience of meeting and sharing life with Prince, even for a little while... Seems he was a real romantic and made everyone of them feel special. Must've been nice.

I think his muses are very important, but i do think that there is a little competition amongst the muses.
