A book on all the women whose careers he tried to boost plus Manuela I am not saying this to be catty. I am saying this because it would be interesting to compare their experiences with him and how he changed through out the years. I think he was both addicting to women and equally frustrating for them to deal with. Some he clearly romanced but Rosie Gaines and Shelby J were two that knew him the longest. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

It would be nice to have them each have their own moment, without having all these randome articles and such, instead have it gathered together. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Thank you all for liking this idea. When Prince died there were all these pictures in not only regular magazines but also special additions, that had the wrong name for the woman who was standing next to Prince. Also, some of the women that writers and editors seemed to believe had the biggest effect on his career or he on theirs were not the ones i would have listed. Who but us remembers Liza from Panama? In truth my least favorite was Bria, but even I felt like she got edited out of the big picture. She was with him and involved in his projects from 2007 to 2010. She was the only one that had her own CD sold along with his AND she is the only non-wife that he converted to the Jehovah Witnesses.

I believe a lot of women would. Women in his life felt very passionately about him and he had a way of making them all feel gifted and important for the length of time they were in his life. Yep plus I thought the women he was attracted to all had a certain sexines, charisma and glamorous-ness that when I was a girl in the 1980s I really looked up too. Playing with my Barbies it made me feel beautiful when I saw Apollonia in a movie as a female lead as I looked similar and made me feel good about my Latina looks. I am thankful to Prince for bringing different types of beauty to the mainstream at a time when that wasn't popular. I like to think it did something positive for my self esteem and maybe other girls. Thanks Prince for recognizing different types of beauty besides Barbie.

True! Kima Bassinger was the only blonde haired and blue eyed beauty that he ever paid a decent amount of attention on. He wasn't interested in the Christy Brinkley types that ruled the 1980's and beyond. There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
