Look like Jill Jones might be going to MN afterall but for now its just a rumor.

Her airplane picture is a clue on her Facebook page. I hope she is willing to get help with her issues. I hope to hear stories to see her join on stage and sing her ass off. cool

I'd bet that won't happen. Not this time, or anytime in the near future. And she could be flying anywhere.

I mean, if she gets on stage w/ The Revolution, she's either off her rocker based on her FB venom, or straight up lying about anything and everything. But she ain't gettin' over her issues in the next few days.

I'd almost lay money she's going to protest out front of First Avenue. HAHAHAHA

Like I said its only a rumor: Although, it is more than a coincidence that she posted an airplane picture just a day before the shows suppose to start, and some of the aassociates and fans are doing the same, posting pictures of them on a plane or plane signs indicated they were heading toward MN. I guess we shall see.

Nevertheless I still like Jill and I still want to see her there to perform or even to show support and also focus on her mental wellness. I also hope that the criticism people on the org and MAYBE behind scenes would help her reeamined herself. I am not going to treat her like a criminal because I seen worse posts and pictures from people via social media and they still were quickly forgiven or still have supporters. To each of their own. shrug

I'd really be shocked if she was on stage with the Revolution this weekend!

Re: the bolded part of your commet -- I can't help but picture her standing on a box with a megaphone, yelling about how the Rev members are fakers and blah blah blah. lol Or maybe she's just going to walk around the venue, scowling and grumbling to herself, while the Revolution is performing.

I see Shelby J posted about this on Twitter/Facebook. I don't thinks she's there but still cool that she's recognizing it. I haven't seen anything from Sheila.

So both Mayte and Mani are at this show. With everyone showing up for this will anyone come back for the tribute in October? I wonder if any of Prince's family are there?

Just saw a clip of Baby Im a star from the band. Susannah was on stage joining. Looks like Susannah might sang some backup after all because I think she said on Fdeluxe page she was just going to watch and support. Damn Sus still can sang those high notes.

And also pictures are sharing too from associates and ex-wives including Mani and Brownmark. I love social media because you get different stories of the same event.

Still its very hard.... sigh. But at the same time I am so excited. smile

Just watched clips from last night's Revolution show (Sept 1) from Mayte & Mani and it just hit me all over again. The tears just kept falling - the enormity of what and who we have lost hurts so much. God knows how they got through it without breaking down. Oh Prince cry

Wendy & Lisa were asked to perform Prince’s “Sometimes It Snows in April” with soul man D’Angelo on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” a few days after the death. They declined.

“I couldn’t even play my piano for a month or more,” Coleman said.

“I couldn’t play my guitar,” Melvoin added.

“We could barely talk to each other,” Brown said.

I can't blame them in the slightest for declining. Hell, it's over 4 months later and I can barely get through one day without crying about this. Can you imagine how they must feel? confused

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

I'm feeling ya on this. All of our journeys on this are as similar as they are vastly different. I sort of feel like The Tonight Show gig would have been premature of them, and ill-planned. They're part of something bigger (eg: The Revolution), so to preempt any future gigs together by doing Fallon would have just not been cool in the course of history.

I can get through days without crying, but when it does hit me, I just let it out. I have to live and be productive. There's a time for grief, and a time for joy. A time for sadness, and a time for laughter. I've laughed in life more than I've cried sine April 21. But that doesn't cheapen my sense of loss, and grief. Don't get me wrong - for days and days after I was just sad and angry and hurt.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I watched some of the videos on Instagram and boy it's just not the same without him there. They tried and did a good job but it was just kind of flat and lifeless to me. Prince had an energy that can't be replicated. sad

I agree. It was an empty sound i just couldn't get passed. No one seemed to take charge. Wendy was too loud on vocals drowning the others out. I loved seeing AC and Dez though. What a dream come true.

I watched the live stream and I kept thinking the same thing. He would have been all over that stage from beginning to end. He owned the stage, and while it was good, it was also painful to watch. I'm glad though that the fans finally got something for them, and it was good.

It seems there were some sound issues throught the show

And from how it started 'make it your own' I don't think the show was about that.
I think it was about remembering Prince through the music, everyone sing
I think it was a good rendition and show, it wasn't about anyone grandstanding

Because we know if someone did get too out front people would criticize that too

This is true of course, I wouldn't want anyone to 'replicate' Prince

I take into account that this was their first performance as a unit since 2012 and that they are not just doing a 'tribute' but more less a memorial of sorts. The spot where they performed and hung out with Prince since 1978 iconic spot, the history connect with Prince & First Avenue all the off concert shows, after shows, concerts, Purple Rain, open rehearsals etc and the they are coming together to say 'goodbye 2 Prince because he is passed away' ... that must be a heavy feeling.

That is what makes all the tributes painful

Prince was music-w/out him as you said the energy is gone

It is nice that fans are getting the closure they wanted though
