2 Points. 1. We all know that Prince was a very private person. I read an article many years ago, before he was ever married, where Prince was quoted as saying that if he ever had any children, he would not want it to be public knowledge. 2. I've read that there are private trust funds where it's possible to give money to someone and not make it public. So, it would be possible for Prince to put an amount of money into this trust fund and name his child(ren) as beneficiaries. If they are happy with the amount already given to them, there would be no need to make a claim in probate court.
I agree. I think there are children of Prince's out there that didnt file a claim against the estate because a Trust was already established for them by Prince years ago. Most likely the Trust states they cannot file a claim against his estate.
At this point, I would like to think that if Prince really had a child or children, the primary concern would be the preservation of his legacy, and not just musical. There is his philanthropic legacy, as well as his legacy as a cultural icon. Then, there is Paisley Park, the future of which is uncertain. In the face of all this, why would a legitimate heir to his singular, historic estate just sit back? That doesn't make sense to me. I could see if Prince had left an estate plan expressing his wishes. No, I think if Prince really had a legitimate offspring(s), any existing trust could be successfully challenged. I know this: If he were my father, or fathered my child, I could no longer sit on that secret. It would be too much to ask. |

I do not believe Prince was romantically involved with Cat. He was actually with Sheila during the SOTT and LoveSexy era. They were engaged and this is not something that Sheila is coming up with now. If you've been a fan since the beginning, you would know that their engagement is no secret. Even Arsenio asked her about it back in 1991. I even believe he's been involved with Sheila throughout the years (2007-2011). don't know why some people are trying to put him with Cat. Give it a rest! #LoveU4EverMyPrince💜💜💜
We know that Prince was with Sheila, Susannah, and Devin all at the same time. So why not Cat also?
And Vanity and Jill before that...man that boy got around ''The beautiful ones they hurt you every tiiiiime....''

---The fact that Prince neglected to make a will means that anything is possible, so I don't agree. With an estate and legacy that he had, he was very irresponsible not leaving a will.
I will forever believe that Prince left a will/trust that is somehow being withheld. I know I can't prove it, but the lack of an estate plan just doesn't feel right.
---------
If he wanted to leave money to someone that would be the manner to do without public knowledge.
I think the secretive nature would be right up his alley. |

That dude does not resemble Prince in any way. Releasing music that contains sound bites and music of Prince's proves nothing more than an apparent obsession with him. Cat's daughter does not resemble Prince either, nor Prince's mom. Lots of black girls have pretty green eyes. There would be zero reason not to step up and take the DNA test.
It's more plausible that Prince has no heirs due to some sort of genetic issue or gene he carried. Several miscarriages and the loss of a son due to a genetic disorder, coupled with the fact that Mani went on to have children in her next marriage can easily lead one to at least entertain this probability. He stated he wanted children and tried several times to start a family. There would be no reason to pretend he wasn't a father if he actually was. All this conspiracy shit is nonesense. |

Honestly, I can't see any woman who had children with Prince and who was in contact/good terms with him over the years having a baby and not naming him as the dad. My reasons are 1)children cost money to raise and Prince was not short on cash and 2)why would you deprive your child of a father, especially if you know this person wanted children, desperately?
I don't know how big Prince was on wanting legitimate biological children only or children only with the current person he liked the most.

with all due respect ,i think your imagination has run away with you. the possibilities in life are endless, concerning most things but #1, if Cat has said she didn't mix business with pleasure than surely her and prince were never lovers. #2, she wouldn't look so busted and broke down if she had kids with P because he would have certainly looked after them. #3 she wouldn't have taken this long to come clean about it,since days after the PP memeorial she was trying to drag Sheila. Cat would have put all of this on front st 20 yrs ago if those kids were by Prince. ++ I don't FB so I have never seen any of her children.
As I said, none of it makes sense...but since I saw her daughter recently, I can't shake my conviction that this is Prince's child. And, with all due respect, since you have not seen her, how can you be so sure? Whatever the case, according to the judge handling the resolution of Prince's estate, tomorrow, June 10, is the last day for potential heirs to file a claim. Time will tell, but I think this is a sleeper story.

Prince made that statement about nobody knowing about his child(ren) while married to mayte I believe. He stated something about the world would never know when "we" birth our child or what gender or what name and stated that was a decision for the child to make. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's a little odd for capricio Caesar whose name I heard is Jordan trine .. BTW the prison bird has been declared NOT prince's son I read somewhere online so hopefully that's the end of that.... It would be nice if prince had a daughter .. would be funny if one of his protégé that we thought was his girl was actually his daughter |

Hi guys.
Cat's daughter: has nothing to do with Prince at all.
Capriccio Caesar: Certainly nothing to do with Cat or Prince
Cat and Prince: Cat's on record for saying what the status of their relationship was she's said it a few times now which some of you have noted here that they were not lovers NO they weren't
Please try and remember some people that these are Cat's children that your discussing and associating with untrue rumours.
I hope that my post has cleared that it up. No matter what certain people keep trying to put out there.
Thanks Guys. ❤️ Business Manager to Cat Glover. |

You could be right. Plus, there is always the possibility of a past settlement, with a signed confidentiality agreement; however, with Prince's estate being in such limbo, that would almost certainly not stand up in court. This is the bottom line: nothing can compare to taking your rightful place as your father's heir and potential gatekeeper to his historic, vast legacy. And it doesn't have to be Cat who files a claim, either. Both of the children are adults, capable of making their own claims. I'm sorry, but if I were Cat's daughter, wild horses could not keep me from having my DNA tested, especially if I could do so privately. The resemblance is just too strong...and there is too much at stake. What's more, time is running out. If nothing is done in the next few days or weeks, it will be too late. I'm just saying... |

Plus, she probably has someone else listed as her father on her birth certificate, perhaps any husband or ex-husband of Cat. A recent article in the Minneapolis StarTribune addresses these potential circumstances, which could complicate things, but, in the end, blood is blood. The right attorney could very easily overcome these hurdles since a child should not be denied his/her heritage because of the actions of his/her parents. Here is the article, with the most relevant portion excerpted below.
The questionnaire about parentage requires certified copies of birth certificates and any marriage and divorce records that may exist for the potential heir's parents. It also asks whether the potential heir's purported father acknowledged his paternity in documents filed with a state registrar of vital records.
The affidavit asks whether the "man who married your biological mother [was] named as your father on your birth record with his consent," and whether that man was obligated to provide support under a written promise or court order.
The questionnaire addresses circumstances in which the potential heir's parents did not marry but attempted to do so, and whether the marriage was declared void or otherwise invalid. If the parents did not marry or attempt to, it asks, did any man and the potential heir's biological mother act as if they were the biological parents? It also asks whether the potential heir's biological mother married someone other than the biological father within 280 days before the claimant's birth.
That is all.

In many ways, she looks like Cat, who is a very beautiful woman. At any rate, I would bet that, if this were just a random man and woman, say, out shopping or out to dinner, most people would be struck by their overwhelming resemblance, particularly their eyes. [Edited 7/5/16 17:41pm] |

Yes, she looks like her mom for sure but she does not have the same eyes shape or eye colour as Prince. Her eyes are upturned at the outer corners - like her mom. Prince's are not at all and neither were his mother's - they are down turned.
Regardless, a rep for Cat asked that her children be left alone. Continuing to perpetuate a nononsensical "conclusion" is pretty disrespectful.

I certainly mean no disrespect, JustErin. In fact, just the opposite is true. I'm just trying to do my small part to simplify Prince's estate. Lastly, I can understand Cat's manager doing her job, but I have to wonder why some are so bent out of shape at even the suggestion that P fathered Cat's child. There was certainly opportunity...and those eyes...those eyes. |
