. i kinda hope he doesn't... a lot of people are really down on Tony M. Probably he can handle it, but if it were me, it would bum me out. . But if he does check the org, let me join in the well-wishing! [Edited 3/30/15 9:48am]

Not a fan, but just like Shelby or 3rdeyegirl, the criticism (which is often very personal) that he gets is uncalled for...

gotta eat "If you wanted to buy a Sam Cooke album, where would you go?"

exactly. at least the man didn't try to cling on to his 15 minutes of fame like some other desperate people ain't nothing wrong with a desk job if it puts an honest plate of food on the table and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

What is so personal about who he works for? Ridiculously sensitive

If that is him and is a recent pic, he looks great for being well over 50. I like to laugh at him and the hip hop phase Prince went through in the early 90s but most of that stuff is great. I love GoldNigga.I hate rap and didnt like it in Prince's music if it wasnt Prince ding it but he was on some great tracks that I think are unduly maligned and dismissed in most reviews of Prince's phenominal career. I always wonder what it is like to be ina normal job living a normal life after a few years of actually seeing the world and being famous with Prince. How wild can it be to hear an old song on the radio or in a store somewhere with your voice on it while you are shopping with coupons? Or seeing yourself on a old video out of nowhere and all those memroies come rushing back?
I understand Tony was part of some lawsuit agsinst Prince so maybe some of those memories arent so golden.

Well no one asks the name and address of the company, just the field. Nothing so personal about this given that the guy used to be on rotation on MTV, is there? Glad to know he's doin' fine anyway A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Perhaps fame isn't always eveything it's cracked up to be.I bet that even Prince sometimes wishes that he could do "normal" things like walking around a mall without bodyguards,or go to a grocery store by himself to buy groceries.Fame can also destroy people who can't handle it.A "normal life" isn't necessarily a bad thing

It's not just the fame and money, an artist's life, even a non-famous and broke artist's life, has little do do with the life of someone with a regular 9 to 5. The only time I tried to have a 9 to 5 full time, 5 days a week, I almost ending-up killing myself and when I quit after a year and a half I swore to myself never to do that again for the life of me. I loved teaching (and still do it part-time for a living) but it was as if my life was boring, meaningless and repetitive, like every bloody day was the same. The loss of social status was also unbearable: having to say "I'm a teacher" instead of "I'm a writer/musician/cultural manager/publisher", I felt a pinch in my heart every time, as if I had been saying "I'm a garbage man". The fact of "leaving work at work" and coming back home and having nothing to do but leisure once I was at home, it was also extremely disturbing because all my life there had been no limit between work and personal life, collegues and friends and dates, it was all mixed-up and that's how I like it. I know a few other artists who tried to give up on their career -precisely because they were constantly broke and wanted to make money- and almost went insane going to a job that was "just a job" every morning, and being "just a normal folk", and who finally decided to resume their artistic career after a coupla years, even if it meant being broke for the rest of their lives. So IDK... A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
