Tommy Barbarella

Is there much info about this guy? Besides his work with the NPG and the Jonas Brothers, there's not much info about him, unlike the other NPG band members like Michael Bland and Sonny T.

Believe it or not, but I think he is hot.

He gave a very long interview to the Keyboard Magazine around the time the Symbol album was released. It's pretty informative. I have it somewhere, but I am not able to find it now. The band he was in before he joined Prince's was called "Flash" or something like that.

I believe he has been playing in some sort of jazz bands more lately. Just do a search on him on Youtube and you'll find some videos. He still uses the name Prince gave him. He looks like a middle-aged music teacher now though. lol

he's still a working musician. just because you leave the limelight doesnt mean you leave music. studio work, scoring, commericial work. hes probably got a better carrer (in a finacially stable way) than most musicians these days.

Sometimes that is all there is. Not everyone who played with Prince is going to have an abundance of notoriety or accessible info in the media. There is nothing remarkable about this guy so there you go

Did you check out his site?

The list of companies he's done music for is pretty impressive.

People tend to overlook his and Mr. Hayes' keyboard work from the TGE period, but all the organ and electric piano stuff was much far more to my liking than what guys like Renato contributed to Prince's music (not that Renato wasn't good, but it's a different thing if his playing really matched Prince's music that well).

He was okay as a musician but the posing and hair flinging annoyed the hell out of me.

I do not miss him.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.
