Monie Love, Born 2 Breed, In A Word Or 2, yea or nay? You all get the cd back in the day? I did enjoy the 2 P songs on there. Decent raps with decent tunes, obviously nothing horribly great but pretty good.
In A Word has a nice chorus by our boy. aww. All you others say Hell Yea!!

As a completist I bought this album, but have only listened to it twice. Since then it's somewhere in a shoebox in my cupboard. [Edited 1/25/14 10:50am]

Strangely enough P's only serious tentative to be taken seriously as a hip-hop producer failed miserably, for Monie Love wasn't exactly sharp anymore in 1993. I really dig the 2 Prince songs, though, but that's most likely because I'm a Prince fan for I clearly remember the songs not being appealing to my rap-lovers friends or anyone else back then. I dig the whole album as well save this terrible dance/house track that's been thrown in the mix, but the problem is that if u listen to that album back to back with contemporaries Salt N Pepa's or Snoop Dogg's 1993 albums it just doesn't really make sense anymore. I remember the video of one of the P sings (BéB I guess but I couldn't say 4 sure) being played a bit on MTV Europe, but French radios and TV's ignored the album and singles. Don't Give Up On A Good Thing! That's the dance track! Though I usually love the typical house sounds it displays, that particular track is an absurdity on a hip-hop album! I just realize that I have the British version. U may have the US version that displays a different tracklist, I wonder if it's better. Thing is the album sounded part cheesy (the poppish tracks, including Prince's), part outdated (the edgier songs sounded like 1991, it's only 2 years but hip-hop was evolving really quickly back then).
