I don't get who forced anyone to turn on Jimmy Fallon's show last night to watch Liv perform and why there is so much hate thrown at 'specific' band associates of Prince's band all the time. It's not like Liv or Shelby J need spermission from Prince fans, to seek and live their music careers or to have him promote/help them with their careers. He is doing the same for Hannah, Ida and Donna, yet none of those girls get this much hatred thrown towards them, like specific members of Prince's band. .not surprised. Seems to be a pattern over the years. Interesting yet not surprised.

This has been happening here for a while. I find all 3 of Prince's backup singers to be a force. They have great vocals and can all hold their own, but yes, most of the hateful , ignorant and often times, racist comments have been spewed from fans here towards Shelby J and Liv.. Then when others here called those fans out on their comments, they try to deny they didn't mean what they intentionally put in print. Prince giving Shelby and the other ladies their 'shine' on stage, pretty much gives his voice a rest in between, in my opinion. Besides, it's his show and he's the captain of his ship, so there is nothing wrong with people having their own music tastes, but I just think it is unecessary and quite 'sick' to go the route of spewing racist, ignorant, stereotypical hatred towards these 2 ladies, just because some fan has an issue with them working with Prince.

The Hornheads are synonymous with the original NPG Horns, touring and recording over a 10 year period with Prince starting in 1991. The Hornheads have again recently recorded extensively with Prince over the past few years (Andy Allo CD, Extraloveable Reloaded, Groovy Potential, Boyfriend, and many others that may or may not be released), but are not members of the live band or current NPG Horns.

she has a great voice though

^I know quite a few fans who are buying her album, for the fact they like her sound, and her voice is way better than the manufactured so-called talent being promoted by some in the music industry. She has a singing voice that many parents pay big money for their children to have that kind of singing talent like Liv. Besides she has some of the best musicians backing her up, so I believe she will do just fine.
