He obviously visits this site. He corrected everything in his second Sept 25th show that everybody on here been complaining about. He seems to be having the time of his life with Andy. Then Prince needs to redefine the parameters of his search because a Beyonce, Andy will never be. But it's funny that you bring up Beyonce. I have to give her props because though she is not a musician (and does not attempt to be), Beyonce has perfected singing, dancing and stage prescence. I think this is exactly why they are not open about their relationship. They don't want to hear all of the negative feedback and backlash from people. Hell people flipped when she posted on fcbk that he said he wore the shirt with her face on it because he loved her. We all have different opinions but it seems to me like they are together but keeping it hust 1) because he's a JW and they're strict as hell and 2) because the general public would give htem hell. I find it interesting that he said "I don't care what y'all say. I got a crush on her." Meaning I don't care who likes it, I'm saying I like her in front of everyone. I'm 24 as well and while I wouldn't date the average 54 year, P is good looking and I'd be willing to make an exception. I also know someone in my grad program who is 22 and is dating a well known photographer who is in his 50s who is handsome, in shape and treats her like a queen. Age is just a number and at least they're both adults.

Sidenote: They were hanging out for awhile during his 21 nights before she ever went on tour. She had a job on G4tv, was in commercials and print ads and was doing fine in the indie scene out here in LA. He definitely pursued her and asked her to be on his tour and perform at the HOB and small gigs. There are vids on youtube where he called her onstage. There are even a couple people who worked at the Forum who saw them interact offstage/leave together. I know a few people during the welcome 2 canada tour stated that they definitely were playful at the aftershows. I think they just try to keep it on the DL because it is taboo and don't want drama. She changed her whole life and is now literally dripping in diamonds. Word out here is that she doesn't even live out here or in Sac anymore so I'm guessing she must be in Minni or jet-setting with him perhaps. Also, maybe he hasn't given up his dream of wanting a family...he could definitely have that with Andy. I think that's why his latest girls have been so much younger..Bria was young not nearly as young as Andy/Misty.

I don't know anything about their relationship and I'm not really interested but I'm completely underwhelmed with what I've seen of her as an artist. I could not imagine sitting through a performance by her or spending money on a cd.

And if that's the kind of woman Andy is (not saying she is, just saying IF she is...), Prince's "dream of wanting a family" would ultimately end up a nightmarish mess if he tried to realize that dream with her.

We can have a difference of opinion and that's fine but don't give me shit for expressing my views.

does anyone else feel very, very uncomfortable watching her performances. She is clearly a lovely girl who is young and I guess still gorwing up. Watching her trying to be this prince fantasy is not great, on record I suspect it will work however watching her live trying 'to do funkay' is not good. Her sound was just fine as it was, chilled out tunes, husky / lovely voice etc and instead of playing to her obvious stregnths[as any decent producer would!] he's trying to morph her into some thing that is clearly not.

I really do wish her well and hope that she enjoys and learns from the experience but hope that eventually she goes back to what she does well.

He said it at the afterjam on 9/26 when she finished her millionth performance of People Pleaser this week. He said "I don't care what ya'll say, I got a crush on that girl." PurpleChi and I looked at eachother and laughed. In unison we said it was obvious.

I found it interesting when he was trying to sell Andy before she performed, though. He was saying how she had some songs she wrote and played with an acoustic guitar. He said he told her that it was good but she needed to add some funk to it. He then said she told him, ok Prince do whatever you want. It was conflicted though because he had also said that she was so funky that when she said his name she didn't even pronounce the "n." He then said his name that way. Which one is it? It's all so contrived that I don't care. Anyone can see that she is NOT funky. Period.

Overall, I just was not impressed with her. She is a coffee house, very small venue performer. Her voice is just not there for the type of performer Prince is trying to make her. Shelby and Liv have voices that rocked the HOB. Andy's was barely there. It wasn't there at the UC on Tuesday either.

I will say that some of the songs on Superconductor sound nice. However, they just sound like typical Prince protege songs, which means they sound good but would probably be great if he gave them to someone other than a girl he is sleeping with or trying to sleep with. I agree, that the latter is true on Andy's part.

I watched her performance of people pleaser at the aftershow on youtube, I thought it was really good. But the part that made me cringe was the part when she tried belting out a scream :/ I don't think she has that type of range but idk maybe she just needs more vocal training but I like her nonetheless

You can laugh all you want but I don't care what his faith is. It has nothing to do with my opinion that he hasn't slept with her. I am a woman and I know that just like men, women like young, tight bodies as well. Prince is a handsome man, but he is 54 years old and Andy is 30 years his junior. Ya'll act like this is 1980s or 1990s Prince macking some young hottie. He can still probably have just about any woman in or near his age bracket, but most young girls ain't checking for an older man unless he can do something for them financially.

I don't know your age or gender, but I have lived long enough to know that at 23, most young girls are not looking to date someone who could be their father. My 20-something year old college students think 35 is old. They are looking for sponsors in older men, not lovers. So, those young girls dangle that carrot for as long as they can to get what they can from these old men who chase them. They get what they can from the old men then move on to someone closer to their own age. Sometimes they are secretly dating someone their own age at the same time that they are g'ing the old men for what they can. It happens all the time.

Andy is not stupid. She's been in the business a minute. She's an actress, too. She is playing her role as a sugar baby and he is playing his as a sugar daddy. They are both starring in a movie that has been playing for centuries. And I hate to ruin the ending for you, but most of those relationships do not progress to sex, no matter how much folks romanticize them. They usually come to an abrupt end when one or both of the stars get tired of playing their parts.

But the point I was making in my post is that my sister knew nothing of Andy's first album and was seeing her perform for the first time at the Welcome 2 Chicago shows. She's not able to gauge the fact that Andy may have some talent outside of Prince's influence. All she saw was a woman flopping around to music that she clearly wasn't comfortable with, so her assessment was that Andy is just not talented. My sister even said that Andy couldn't sing. Now, I know Andy sounds better than that because I've heard her perform her own music and her thin voice sounds sweet over those simple tunes. However, paired with a full-on funk band, her voice sounds strained--like it's trying to keep up.

That's the danger of Andy working with Prince. Yes, he can give her exposure, but if she is not singing the right music for her particular talent, all of that exposure will only leave more people with a bad taste in their mouths. Remember, first impressions are the most important. People who felt like my sister (which were many of the people in my section) won't buy this album or anything else from Andy.

I saw in pictures that she had her guitar attached to her, did she use it?
