Back on topic - there's an interview on Reality Aired (correct title?) which says Mayte will reveal on the show that she had lost a second baby!

Unclear whether it was a miscarriage or live birth, nor whether it was also Prince's. I really feel sorry for the poor girl! She's such a talented dancer and seems to be a good person.

Totally agree with you.

To her credit, she seems the least "gung-ho" about doing this. And the anger seemed staged, like the producers wanted her to do something, or set it up so that drama will happen.

She seems really sweet, and I was hoping the show was not about women getting into fights, but then, what else could it be about?

Clearly none of that shit is real. On facebook she is always gleefully plugging this show, not saying "holy shit, I just got into a fight! What have I done?!?!"

She may regret it, but I'm sure it was a offer she could not refuse. Plus, she probably loves these kinds of shows. She is friends with Kim K. too.

It seemed like Tommy Lee was with Mayte partly because she was Prince's ex.

I don't remember exactly what he said in that interview that was posted here as well, but he said that Prince was his favourite musician and that it was incredible to get to hear all kinds of stories from the time Mayte was with Prince.

I can't help but think that Prince is thinking: "Let her do this show. And when she realizes how out-of-place she looks, she will regret signing up to do this reality show and if she does reach out to me, i'll give her the cold shoulder".

It seems like her motivations for doing this show seems like ill-conceived and as she will learn, the fame will be short-lived. By the end of the season, people will think of her as the lovelorn ex-wife of Prince instead of moving on from him.

I am with you on this Jam, I think she thought that Prince would never get over her but she found out the hard way that he could and did.

I never watched the Tommy series (he seems kind of dirty to me, but I do know about his attributes )but I heard some of the reviews/feedback, so again why would Prince want a women that goes on TV talking about give me some ass. Please that girl is not innocent and your right she definitely wasn't thinking about Prince when she was get her hoo hoo knocked around by Tommy. But we know how that situation turned out, he was still in love with Pam and probably got with Mayte to fuck with Prince. She's been working steadily and had roles here and there, modeling hair gigs, a few commercials, and a movie or two.

There are tons of actresses scratching for a position to work in Hollywood. Mayte has her work cut out for her, so one way to get people to be interested in you is to get your face out there.

There IS an interest, the people who produced and backed this show know there is an interest. VH1 got all these women together, and I personally doubt any of them knew eachother. They were brought together for the sole purposes of this show and are now to get their 15 minutes and hopefully a brand that will garner a large following.

Yes I agree. I love Mayte and am surely on her team but dating Tommy Lee and doing that documentary or show or whatever with him, surely changed the way I thought about her for a minute.
