Now for the Mayte being his soul mate comment. I can see where one would believe that. There was a certain chemistry between the two that was undeniable. But, in all fairness, couldn't the same be said about him and Sheila?

Somehow I feel the chemistry with Sheila was a different kind of chemistry than the chemistry he had with Mayte. Prince and Sheila got history IN ADDITION to chemistry (or at least they did. Are they still on the outs with each other? ). I think Sheila is more of his musical soul mate where as Mayte could had been his soul mate in romance...but who knows. No doubt, P moved on to the next one as he always does with the quickness, but I don't doubt for a second that Mayte still pops in his brain now and then.

So far, this show is super lame. Mayte has an undertone of sadness and desperation in my opinion. Sure would love for her to dish but we know that won't happen.

It is kind of suspicious that he seems to sing about it so much. "Those who can't, teach" cases tend to be the big talkers. On the other hand, it does seem like he has an oral fixation - sucking his thumb as a toddler, lollipops. And if you sing about it so well, you will be expected to do it!

I was just having fun with it too, no harm. But I think that if a person is supposedly having issues with a former relationship from the past, and wants to move on, then maybe a professional therapist is best, instead of using a reality show as a cure to move past it, unless she has a different agenda altogether.

So far the first two episodes showed a house full of animals, momma not liking the matchmaker, a cabinet full of china with the Prince symbol, and nothing mentioned really about her present career as a belly dancer or the DVDs I think she was preparing to make for sale of bellydancing some time ago. Maybe the upcoming episodes will focus on the 'now' in her life instead of the 'past'. So far only 2 episodes have been aired, so still time to see if that will happen.
