"We just got a tip that Mayte Garcia, the ex-wife of music icon Prince, and ex-fiance of rocker Tommy Lee is about to shoot a new TV show.

Word is that the show starts filming/production today in the San Fernando Valley. We are waiting to hear more info from either Mayte or the crew.

We last saw Mayte doing a burlesque show for Cherry Boom Boom where she performed "Ain't No Place Like U" as well.

Mayte Garcia & Nicole Murphy To Star In New VH1 Show “Hollywood Exes

The news we hinted at earlier this week, can now be told. Mayte Garcia along with Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, and Andrea Kelly will star in a VH1 Reality show.

The show has a working title of "Hollywood Exes" and follows the 5 women on their journey without their famous husbands and ex-lovers.

The series will star Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Conseco - 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly – 12 years). “Hollywood Exes” will premiere in the summer of 2012 with 10 one-hour episodes.

Even if it is reality....shes still doing her acting thing. She got a big acting role to announce soon....

Good for Mayte! Never thought I would see this day Prince ex-wife on a reality show about exes I doubt she will talk much about Prince, kinda like Royce on" basketball wives" can't talk about Dwight Howard or have her son on the show. If she talks about Prince I hope she lawyer's up

Not a good look for Mayte after all these years I mean yeah the money is green, but let us Prince fans continue to love her don't ruin our image of her with this B.S. nothing good can come from this. Mayte needs to move on to the next man.

She already has with a certain reality show stint with Tommy Lee ..... but I hope she gets more gigs and finally leaves Prince in the past where he belongs.

i think she may face some negative comments from prince fans that are afraid of what she'll say on the show about him. but i think she should be able to say and do what she wants. it's her life, and she shouldn't have to live in fear of saying something that might upset prince.

Nevermind she won't be losing the " the ex-wife of music icon Prince" that's what she's counting on. Imma still watch it even if it does turn out to be boring or trashy cuz i love Mayte. What are they going to do follow them in their homes?

Since DrFB. knows about it, I'm guessing it's safe to say that Prince knows about this too, right? And this is actually going to happen, in spite of that?

Normally, I can't stand these stupid shows and avoid them like the plague but I must admit, I am intrigued. Not because I think there will be anything revealed that isn't already public knowledge. It's just the fact that after all these years, I may finally get to hear Mayte publicly have her say.
