It's alright. If she was playing the guitar in this remake it would be interesting but it's another forgettable remake by Andy. She sounds bored to me. I like the original 17 Days by Prince. ...bing ain't lie. | |

It's not bad. I actually like how it stays true to the original "Doves" single b-side version rather than the bouncier live version Prince has played over the years. It always bothered me how live he added a different keyboard line . On record its so cold, moody, and in your face funk. Live he has always made it too vegas/bouncy like on the Parade Tour and even back in the '84 First Ave birthday gig. Living Colour did it right by going hard with it. It's such a song about lonliness and despair that I think it fits Andy's tone well. Nice job. |

If not Andy..then who is it? I agree the guitar lines throughout isn't typical P. But the vocal sounds like her to me. |
