Sorry, man, but that's false. He played with The Time in 2004 and continues to occasionally play or acknowledge with his past today. Prince just wants to do something else and find new people and rightfully so. He's in new places now.

I was just talking about this project. He refuses to give them the name, that's where my point was coming from. It's really not a big deal.

I for one don't care what he gains or don't gain at this point. The Original 7ven should have done this ages ago and I am thrilled they are doing this on their own, without Prince because they are WAY to talented to let it go this long. I can't WAIT FOR TUESDAY!!!

The two I've got on lock from Best Buy are for me. One to open and one to keep unopened. The rest I'll be giving to some True Funk Soldiers that I know have hung up their fatigues, thanks to someone who shall remain nameless... but are ripe for the coming out of retirement. They just don't know it yet.
