Ya'll better get in line early then because I just called my local Best Buy and the customer service agent checked on the computer and said each store was only getting ten physical copies of the special CD/DVD combo and that was it! eek So, I decided not to take a chance and ordered it online. If you get it online it has free shipping. Good luck on Tuesday! lol

Complete b.s. its a best buy exclusive... nothing but the limited editions fully stocked over 30 plus copies no regular editions where on the shelves the next batch printed with be the standard editions. didnt see any at Target which is in the same shopping center. So i picked up 2 copies (one for an orger)

Wow. Extremely revealing stuff in the documentary. Morris Day was so pissed he nearly blew up out of his chair when talking about why the name change became necessary. And the Alexander O'Neal story was classic. The documentary is funny and has so many heartwarming moments in it. I could not have imagined this. Well done, guys. Well done.<img src=" />

Hi fellow orgers,

Since I'm in Europe, I cannot buy the limited CD/DVD.

Is there someone in the US who can buy 1 (of 2) copies for me? Of course I will pay the buying price + s&h! Please PM me...

Thanks in advance!

"Lifestyle" is the album's best slow jam (and there are plenty of em')

"Toast To The Party Girl" is an instant classic.

The documentary was a dream come true for this fan of the Time. Oh, and the album???? It's everything I could've dreamed for. SO excited that the O7 and FDeluxe showed Prince what time it is now! lol Great year for the MPLSound!!!

Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

what's cool too is when u pop in the dvd and just let trending play, it's a instrumental track ..damn if u can't feel the groove and funk on that track!

nice 2 know also that sue ann helped out too!

i had 2 laugh when i saw the name jamie shoop in the credits too! wow!!

glad the brothers are back doing their thing

would be extra cool if they did a tour with fdeluxe opening up

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

What a horrible name for the group. Could not they come up with something better than that? Peope are not even going to know who they are unless they actually see them before they see that name on the bill ot CD.

On the cover it says "The Band Formerly Known As the Time". Plus, with their picture on it, how could you NOT know what time it is??? I personally think they should have said "The ARTISTS Formerly Known As The Time". Hey...a play on words!!!!!

Thank Prince 4 that!!!!!!

cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

It is obviously the Time - but the name is dumb and not clever. Cant blame Prince for choosing a bad name.

For the love fest that this DVD is, I would have liked to hear more about the serious fallouts like Jesse being kicked out of the band or the recent absence of Jerome. What about the bitterness that we heard from Morris regarding Jesse's solo deal? THat would have been refreshing aside from the Prince bashing (which was to be expected).

I did learn one thing: I never knew Morris lived in Gaithersburg, MD while working a crap job at a car rental place. I would have loved to see some photos of him during that period.

I didnt read every line of the closing credits. Where was the footage of the group sitting around the table shot?? House of BLues, perhaps?

I was enthralled. This is a very nice piece and it is long overdue for these legends.

if any international folks want a copy, i don't mind running to best buy and sending it to you. you would have to pay for shipping via fedex or regular mail. payments would have to be through paypal. i went to the grammy museum event last night where they screened the documentary and had a q&a afterwards (no performance). the guys looked amazing! the documentary was a great insight to the
