I personally never cared much for the whole Jerome thing.

I agree, he and Morris did ad some humor to Purple Rain, but to built an entire career on holding a mirror up on a stage and smiling goofy is rather pathetic.

You're right Timmy, its nasty to dog out anyone that hasn't done anything to you. Jerome was going to be "somebody" within the Prince organization or without him when he was in college. God just used Prince has a vessel to open a door for him and to the other many many performers to have a once in a lifetime opportunity to on an international stage. Talk about one helluva life!

That is his job. He is the Jester/Man Servent/Dancer/percussion player....he is doing what he always has for Prince and The Time ..duh

Jerome Benton never claimed to be a musician or an actor or whatever. He just seems to be a really nice man, who found a really cool way to earn his life, and I bet most accountants and cashiers'd dream of a life such as his. So until Jerome is proven to be a bad person, just leave the dude alone. Peace
