I"m a huge Mayte fan and think she's one of the most gorgeous women ever but damn those photos are awful! the lighting, the stupid shit she's wearing....leather panties and a studded cuff on her wrist? she's middled aged now I wish she would mature her look a little....

Look, I'm not saying she's ugly- She's gorgeous! But in the pics she looks old and emaciated. She looks tired too. The lighting is awful. the clothes are hoochy and I just think someone should have dressed her better and lit her up in a more flattering light.

1. At least provide the photo to which you're referring so that people (with a little surfing time) can see what you're talking about and perhaps post their own thoughts about the visual.

2. Isn't Garcia in her early 30's? That's hardly middle aged, and being that she's based in California, body shots are not all that unusual for people working in show business. Would we say that any of the women who are on Desperate Housewives shouldn't do pics in that vein? Many of the cast members have, and they aren't exactly spring chickens.

3. Obviously she liked her photographer and the wardrobe choice, otherwise she wouldn't have approved the photos to be used for her site. If she's happy with the turnout then why should we care?

She's 37 or 38 so she's entering middle age. Like I said, I love her and think she's gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, but whoever took the pics and set up the lighting did her no favors, is all I'm saying. I don't know how to post photos on here but the photos I'm talking about are obvous. They're the one's with the horrific lighting!

I think the photos are fine and she looks great.

I honestly don't see the "old", "tired", or "emaciated" you're going on about. I do however see her (enviable) muscle definition, and perhaps highlighting that is the reason behind the lighting used?

No I agree with you! I'm not saying she's aged / I think she's hardly aged at all- She looks fantastic! What I'm saying is that in the pictures, she looks "spent" in my opinion, but in snapshots out and about, she looks wonderful! I just think the pics portray her poorly. And I think she would look hotter in classier clothing.
