Purple Rain Screening w/ Apollonia In Person! (SF Bay Area)

Hi All, Just wanted to let everyone know Peaches Christ will be hosting a 35mm screening of Purple Rain at the 1400-seat majestic Castro Theatre in SF on July 1st! There will be a pre-show, Prince-inspired fashion show, costume contest, and a Q and A session with Apollonia!

In my opinion, Appollonia was a little too mature for Prince and thats probably why things did not work for them.

Things are this slow for Apollonia? SHe was always getting over on looks and they are startin to morph into something else with the plastic surgery. Who could ever forget her iconic, mammortistic briliance in the Lake Minnetonka scene?

Things like this SHOULD be done by everyone that appeared in Purple Rain, Prince included. What else are they doing with their careers. What makes you think Apples had plastic surgery?

Oh, she's most definitely had plastic surgery..

She's so beautiful, it's too bad we won't get to see her natural beauty age...You know when you see an old lady and you can tell she was so beautiful when she was younger cuz she is still beautiful...w/o any plastic surgery

With all due respect, Apollonia is now a self made millionaire who owns and operates a entertainment company in Hollywood that cast actors in tv shows. She's doing very well, behind the scenes, making more money than she's ever made working for Prince. That's why we always see pics of her on the red carpet because she is very involved with tv and dvd films.

Wow, it would be nice to watch it on the big screen!

PurpleLove7: Thanks for posting this here! I've attended previous years and it was amazing at The Bridge theatre. With it on the Castro screen and with Apollonia in person to witness the awesome pre-show activities and be interviewed...it's going to truly be next level!
