In regards to Mani.

I've read my fair share of anti-Mani comments and this isn't about whether they are justified or not.

I would just like to know if this general disdain has always been felt about her on here or did it occur after the divorce?

Good question. While I can see someone making an occasional, brief comment about a news item, what I don't get is why some folks write entire essays and make a whole career of speculating about the personal business of people they don't know.

um part of that maybe true. hahaha, but it takes a crazy person to travel across a continent to get near the rockstar of her dreams (and ended up pimping the pimp!) $$$ so though I can't hate on the lifestyle her sincereness will always be questionable. i mean how the heck did she plan that out???

Well, it really just dawned on me that because she was a fan who, as people seem to put it, "worked" her way to him (I don't know this one way or the other since I came in late in the game on NPGMC and never had contact, that I know of, with her there)...that she'd be, of all his previous loves, the most "accessible" and thus the easiest to beat-up on because people feel on the same level. She is probably the one they feel most delusionally connected to him through as well.

I thought that he was just making a comment of his own about the Mani situation based on your response. I've read some of his previous post, he's pretty straight-forward. You did offer some insight and I thank you for that. Personally, I don't think anyone that could be classified as it "it could have been me" person has posted on here as of yet. If they even bother to respond at all. Funny thing is here's is their opportunity to say why they don't like her and they, probably, won't take full advantage of it. As I mentioned earlier this is just a question and I'm not interested in judging the validity of their response.

I do think that Prince has his sexy moments, but I would never want to meet him in person. His music and movies are enough for me.

Well, that's why I said 'if he was insinuating', it could've been taken either way and I just wanted to make sure it wasn't directed at me.

Oh yeah, there was also stuff about her undermining Mayte in different ways and then wearing her clothes when she was gone. It's funny what little details stick...I have an old brain, so it's a crapshoot sometimes! Then I think her first 'official' sighting for the general fans was in the Come On video, altho folks had spotted her at Paisley and working the old New Funk merch tent or whatever it was back then.

Does anybody remember when Prince appeared on The Tavis Smiley Show back in '09 and said that "it does hurt when you hear people say hurtful things about you. We were in love then, we should be in love now". Those remarks take on a whole new meaning in light of Manuela's facebook status yesterday. The status wasn't the wisest thing to do, but all we can do is take her at face value and just agree to disagree.

That is exactly how you come off! Then you go on Manuela's FB blasting any Prince fan who happened be a FB friend of Manuela's. She accepted these people as her friends, she made a comment, it was up for discussion, we replied, why are you ALL OVER us for why/how we voice our opinion back? Manuela had no problem stating hers!
