Larry. . . Am I the only one who can't stand him for his influence on Prince?

You created a bait thread, even though I'm sure you didn't intend it that way.
No, you're not the only one. 80% of the people on this site hate him. In my opinion, he saved Prince's life in his darkest period and I think he is a bad-ass bass player. I don't think he is any good musical influence on Prince, but I do appreciate him being his long-time friend and Prince has shown numerous times that it's pretty hard to stick around him for long. And if someone could post that article about Larry's influence in Prince's personality changes, much appreciated as I can't find it myself.

Larry's a pretty cool guy. I love his bass playing and always will. Prince's current religion seems to have been influcence by Larry. Sure would like to see Prince ditch it. JW like all organized religions is controlling, i.e., shunning and defellowshipping, insisting that all associated with you be JW's, etc. | |

I resent that Prince decided to become a Jehova's Witness and screw up his lyrics and not play some of his older material. Larry never did that. Still plays his old songs and I don't recall any Jehovah songs.... so I got a problem with who? |
