Odd that they think "Emmy nominee!" is the way to promote this...
But I've seen Sheila at a small jazz club several times in the past, and I just can't recommend it highly enough. It is so much fun to watch her perform in a setting like that.

Are you going, HonEMan?
You know it! But it will be a challenge for her to top that last show there.
I got tickets for the 10pm show. For the people who went last year, was Sheila doing any autograph signings after the show? I have seen her before in club shows and was nice in signing autographs for fans after the shows.

When Sheila performed with the E family last month at yoshi's, the 3 of them were signing autographs after the 10pm show that I went to. They signed their new cd for me.
Love's no fun when the one you love don't love you.

Sheila signed all kinds of merch betweeen the 8pm and 10pm shows last time. I didn't stick around after the 2nd show but think I remember her saying that she would return. Bet they will be promoting autographed E-Family CDs.

Thank You. By chance, did they have the cd with the song LEADER OF THE BAND?

Thank You. Looking foward to the show. She is really down to earth.

Yes, it was on a 4-song (I think?) CD-R that was sold for $20. Perhaps they will have more for sale??

Great! I hope so as she never put it on her web site. Thanks again for your help as I am looking foward to the show since its rare when she does her own solo stuff. Hopes special guest stars pop up.

"America" and "Pop Life"? Was she part of those sessions? I would love if she included at least one song from her amazing self titled CD (by far her best...her first was too short and her second was padded with lousy material).

I disagree with you about the second album being padded with lousy material, but I totally agree with you that hearing something from her third album would be amazing. I have always wanted to hear Love on a Blue Train live. It might need to be "cleaned up" slightly, but even so...it would be a great treat. So would Pride and the Passion.
