^ right except the rumors were that Mani was PA to Mayte BEFORE Mayte and Prince broke up. I remember reading that PA to Mayte was one of Mani's first jobs at Paisley Park. So that is what makes it even worst. Now maybe Mayte treated Mani at arms length sensing that Mani was competition. But maybe Mayte was a bit sabotauged by Mani. That is the impression I got when I read this.

These stories/rumors came from people who frequented Paisley Park celebrations often and had made acquaintances with either employees of PP or family of band members etc. Also it was said that when Mayte was left in Spain and Prince returned to Minneapolis to work on new record and Mani was prominent on the scene, that insiders let Mayte know what was going on. Because think about it... she was on another continent... There would be no way of her finding out unless people in Minneapolis didn't whisper in her ear.

I guess the fact that Eric ADMITTED to cheating and having a sex addiction and Prince has not means nothing? At it stands, everything about Prince cheating on any woman is all speculation. One person says he did cheat, the next says he's never even slept with these women. None of us were there in his bedroom with him and Mani. Maybe he did cheat, maybe he didn't. But none of us know, so why is it hard to understand that people don't dog him if we don't know the truth? With Eric, we do know the truth, Eric and Halle spoke about it publicly. Well, I never had any issues with Mani. Never viewed her as a homewrecker...no one can "break up your marriage." Prince got out of his marriage to Mayte because he wanted out, you can't blame Mani for that. The only people to blame for the end of the marriage was Mayte and Prince. Why stay with someone you don't want to be with or aren't in love with anymore?

I was SO happy to see Prince moving on and he looked happy during these days, he was very settled and mature. I kept thinking, finally he has someone who loves him truly and isn't after him just so he can make her famous.

I always liked Mani's story because I think her sincerity was real compared to other women who had been in his life. She was intrigued by this musician, was lucky enough to get a job with him, and they fell in love. Pretty romantic IMO. She was there when he needed someone...

She started to get on my nerves a little after she left Prince ; he didn't even want the divorce! But you never know what happened between these 2, but no Mani hate here. I thought her FB comments were unnecessary and pretty rude, but I still ain't hating on her. She was definately one of the most beautiful Prince women! You make some great points...but this whole thing got started because of a status she posted on facebook which some may view as inappropriate. Just as Prince gets slammed here left and right on the Org for everything he does, unless Mani now gets an off limits pass for anyone saying anything bad about her, I think its okay to disagree and about her approach for that particular issue. You make some great points...but this whole thing got started because of a status she posted on facebook which some may view as inappropriate. Just as Prince gets slammed here left and right on the Org for everything he does, unless Mani now gets an off limits pass for anyone saying anything bad about her, I think its okay to disagree and about her approach for that particular issue. That doesn't explain the truth of what happened as far as divorce goes. Mani might have been the one to cheat on Prince. Divorce initiation doesn't always give a definite explanation of what, who or why the marriage dissolved.

Also there were whispers that Prince had already "divorced" Mani from his life. Not living with her, not accepting her calls. Just how long before a girl figures out that the marriage is dead and it is time to move on. Prince being in JW, he would not file. With Mani filing, he could save face.

There are more than 50 ways to leave a lover. One is to abandoned them emotionally and physcially. The actual filing of the legal papers is inconsequential.
