Monday, February 07 6pm-8pm NYC Time WVOF 88.5 FM Radio The "Upper Room with Joe Kelley" welcomes Smart Mouth's Brian Gallagher and Julius Collins to the WVOF studios for an in-depth interview and music special. The Minneapolis funk and soul musicians will talk about their new CD which fuses the influences of soul, rock, jazz and hip-hop. They describe the music as "conversational soul".
Smart Mouth includes saxophonist Brian Gallagher (Prince and the NPG, Greazy Meal, Mandy Moore, Taylor Hicks), singer Julius Collins (Sons of Almighty and Greazy Meal) and drummer Michael Bland (Prince and the NPG, Maxwell, Sons of Almighty, Dixie Chicks, Soul Asylum).
