Hello Orgers, does anyone know if Melissa Morgan has ever toured or done an opening performance for Prince back in the 80's? She made it big in the 80's with Do Me Baby by Prince. Was there ever a romantic link between the two? I would've loved to see her perform at the the BET Awards show that honored Prince. She would've been much better and exciting than Patti Labelle. What do you think?

Her remake of Do Me Baby was a huge hit on urban radio. I don't think she and him ever had a thing, she was just another artist that remade a song of his, from what I can remember.

No connection other than she covered a Prince song that was considered obscure by the mainstream listeners but a classic by his fans.
