Music Video's (non-live) that Prince's Girlfriends were in? Can you name the videos that starred his past girlfriends? Specifically: Susannah Mayte (she's not in many that aren't live versions) Nona and Vanity

Who is Willow? Leisl Auvante must be the girl that kept popping up around that time who had that Prince girl "look." I always wondered if she was a "girlfriend."

Willow was another one of Prince's girlfriends. Leisl was also in Graffiti Bridge. I think she started out as a girlfriend, but ended up as friends. They both were around a lot more than Troy or Nona. TRUE BLUE

How did Willow look? I don't recall seeing anyone else popping up like Leisl. It is interesting that you said she was around more than Troy or Nona.
What I have found interesting about Prince is that he seems to keep certain relationships more private and a little less part of the show than others. Nona is one of those. However, I always thought they really had something because of the way she was around. We'll never know his reason, but it has always been interesting to me which relationships he makes a public spectacle and which ones are kept as private as someone as famous as Prince can keep them private. It also seems like the more private relationships seem to last longer, and we learn about them after the fact. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Willow was tall and thin, long brown/sometimes blonde hair. I would have to watch the video for Damn U to tell you exactly at what point she is in the video.
I live in Minneapolis and was around a lot during 91-97 and during that time Prince had a lot of private parties at Paisley Park and frequented Glam Slam on a weekly basis. I am not claiming to know who Prince was in a relationship with and who he wasn't, but from my observations I saw Troy twice. Once at the filming for the Sexy Mf garage scene shoot and once at the Ryde Divine shoot. Nona, I saw at Glam Slam a few times and at the Love 4 One Another shoot. They were both around for a very limited time. Leisl had been around since at least 89 and through at least 96. Willow was always at the private parties and was there with Prince. Mayte was never with Prince at Glam Slam or the Paisley Park parties. Carmen was at Glam Slam and Paisely Park parties with Prince, on occasion. I think the reason some relationships seemed to be more private is because people like Willow and Leisl were unknown and not famous, so the press didn't care nor were they hanging around to follow Prince like the celebs in LA and NY. Prince was a very good juggler, if you get my point, as a lot of this was going on around the same time. TRUE BLUE

Thanks for the clarification. I noticed that he always seemed to have some overlap. Was Willow white, black, Latina or other? I am going to look for her in the Damn U video to satisfy my curiosity.
I find some of your observations, which I have no reason to doubt, interesting because they underscore some things I wondered about in terms of whom he wanted people to know he was in a relationship with and whom he didn't. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Willow looked white to me. I believe she was from somewhere in Europe. You can see her at the point where Prince sings "When we're making love" and holds both arms straight out and then it cuts to a girl sitting down and running her index finger down her cheek, it's at about the 3:10 mark. Thanks again. I just saw the video. Yeah, I would not have even noticed her other than that she does have that Vanity-esque look with her make up in that video. Speaking of, did you see the Video Soul clip with Vanity and Donnie Simpson in another thread in this forum? In the second clip, it is interesting when Donnie asks Vanity who is Prince's woman and she comments that it is hard to single out one and that she doesn't know which one owns his heart. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

The video didn't really do her justice. She was very petite and normally had long curly hair, and she always wore baby doll dresses. I'm sure they all had there place somewhere! TRUE BLUE
