John Blackwell's Father passed today. May he rest in peace. My thoughts are with John and his family.

I guess John didn't get to go to the funeral while it appears hes continuing to Tour in Europe with Prince?

I'm not certain, but my understanding is that John did get back to the US in time for the funeral.

One of the reasons I heard for no aftershow in Holland was because they were all leaving fairly early the next day to get back (that's unconfirmed, but makes sense imo).

John did an incredible job, giving his all throughout two concerts despite the situation.

No doubt he is now spending some much-needed time with family

Yes, it's finished now. The band (most, if not all of them) are back in the US.

He doesn't have very good luck when on tour with Prince !

GOD Bless John and his family, I hope he feels the Father's love and let it enclose him and fill him up. A loss is so hard, hopefully he keeps strength and keeps his head up! And always pray for a peace of mind and be at peace in his heart.
