They totally disrespected her and made a fool out of her after she left. The comment that bothered me the most. Is when they said she said blessed. And they said she must of fell off and fell on the bible, then they started cracking up like that was so funny. That was mean. Why do people get so offended when someone want to change there life over to God. Is that so wrong nowadays? Prince gets so much slack on this very site for that. But he is happier and content and at peace more than ever now. I guess Its jealousy.

No it is not jealousy. It is wrong for people to do that, it is just mockery because it has become a cliche that if you hit rock bottom in a part of your life, usually drug related, people sometimes either self destruct or turn to mythology as a way to cope and feel better about themselves.

If it makes people feel better, more power to them.

Those guys are complete idiots. And for some reason, when I read this thread, I had a picture in my head of what kinds of guys these were and I was spot on. They are punks as well because they talked about her when she was gone because they could not handle her. I also really couldn't stand all the "girl" talk. She's not a girl, she's a woman. I cant' stand when white men put on that "voice" when talking to black women. It's insulting.

I have noticed that alot of radio people do not care what bridges they burn or what artists they tend to make a fool of.. I was very professional with every artist I ever spoke with and only had a issue with one guy...BUSTA RHYMES!!! I love the way Sheila handled that azz clown!! I have been debating for about 4 weeks rather to see Michigan play football labor day weekend in Ann Arbor or.....STAY HERE AND GO 2 A SHEILA E CONCERT!!! This is what happens when you give a nobody who always wanted to be a somebody a microphone and an audiencce; they start believing they are relevant even though they have no talent. Sheila is legit. Nobody would interview dude unless they were from his station and talking about the station because nobody cares who he is. Trying to belittle someone's accomplishments by the use of time is always the first sign of an inferiority complex. They thought they could bully mami into saying what they wanted her to say. They forgot who was interviewing who. That's the kind of thing you do to reality television stars who are famous just for being famous, not real stars who actually have talent.

Wow that was painful to listen to. Could they have been more disrepectful? I mean sure there's some people that would like to know if Sheila and prince ever had sex. But when she says "I'm not talking about that"... lay the hell off. Now I can be a catty bitch when I wanna be.. but I'm listening thinking wwwwoooow they're just being mean. Just downright disrespectful. I bet they told her in advance theyd talk about what she wanted.. the turned it around acting like all they know of Sheila E is she's a (paraphrasing) hot piece of ass that knows stuff about Prince. I'm sure none of these so-called-shock-jocks have any talent so they have to be annoying on radio. When that "career" dies.. the only skill they have left is being rude and annoying. Sheila's popular years may have faded.. but she can drum circles around lots of other musicians.

You go Sheila for sticking it out! But she made me laugh out loud when she answered their "inspired by" question with "Prince".. reminded me of the Purple Rain mtv premiere interview.

And her praying they learn some respect instead of throwing a big middle finger.. props to Sheila for being the bigger person.
